Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device, is never uploaded, and is never stored by us. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and crop a file - you will see no upload request. The tool even keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.
Shopsy and Flipkart labels look similar - can I use the same crop?
Usually yes, because Shopsy runs on Flipkart’s logistics stack and both put the Ekart label on the top portion of the page. Check the preview each time anyway; it takes a second and catches any layout difference before you print a hundred labels.
Will cropping blur the barcode?
No. We do not convert your PDF into an image. The crop is a vector operation - we rewrite the page CropBox and MediaBox so the printer draws exactly the same vector artwork inside a smaller frame. Text stays text and the barcode stays a barcode at full resolution, so scanners read it exactly as well as the original.
Can it remove the packing slip?
Yes. The packing slip sits below the label, so cropping to the label region leaves it out of the downloaded file. Your original PDF still contains it if you need it.
Does the Shopsy cropper work on a mobile phone?
