About the Snapdeal label crop tool

Snapdeal’s Seller Zone produces shipping labels as A4 PDFs in the same stacked format most Indian marketplaces use: the label with its courier barcode, AWB number and delivery address on the top portion, the tax invoice and order summary below. One page per order, and only the top part needs to reach the courier.

Snapdeal’s seller base skews toward value-priced goods, where a rupee or two of printing per dispatch is a genuine share of the margin. Cropping to the label lets you either put one label on a 4x6 thermal roll - fast, no ink, sharp barcode - or fit four labels on one A4 sheet if you print at home. Either way you print far less than the raw file asks for.

Use the tool below: open your Snapdeal label PDF, check the preview, drag the crop box over the label region, and download. Only the labels come out. It is a vector crop so the AWB barcode stays scanner-perfect, and because processing is 100% client-side, the addresses in that PDF never travel anywhere.

How to crop a Snapdeal shipping label to 4x6

Four steps, about ten seconds once you have the PDF from Snapdeal Seller Zone.

  1. Step 1: Download from Seller Zone

In Snapdeal Seller Zone, open your pending orders and download the shipping label PDF for the batch.

  2. Step 2: Open the file here

Drag the PDF into the Snapdeal label crop tool on this page. It is processed in your browser with no upload.

  3. Step 3: Set your crop

Use the "Top half" preset or drag the box so the AWB barcode and delivery address are fully inside it and the invoice is not.

  4. Step 4: Crop and download

Click Crop & Download to save a labels-only PDF ready for a 4x6 thermal printer or a 4-in-1 A4 sheet.

Why crop your labels

Cropping is not cosmetic. It changes what you spend on printing, whether the assigned Snapdeal logistics partner can scan your barcode, and who else gets to see your customers' addresses.

  • Protects thin margins

On value-priced orders, printing cost is a real share of profit. One thermal label per order instead of a full sheet keeps it small.

  • AWB barcodes stay readable

Vector cropping preserves the barcode exactly, so pickup scans and hub sorting work without retries.

  • Private processing

The PDF never leaves your browser. No account, no upload, no copy of your order data on someone else’s server.

  • Print however you print

One label per 4x6 page for thermal printers, or four labels per A4 sheet for a regular home printer.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Snapdeal label cropper cost anything?

No. It is free, has no signup, no page cap and no watermark.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device, is never uploaded, and is never stored by us. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and crop a file - you will see no upload request. The tool even keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

Can I remove the extra invoice pages from a Snapdeal PDF?

Yes. Where the invoice sits below the label on the same page, cropping removes it. If your download has invoices as separate whole pages, use the page navigation to crop only the label pages and leave the rest out of your selection.

Will cropping blur the barcode?

No. We do not convert your PDF into an image. The crop is a vector operation - we rewrite the page CropBox and MediaBox so the printer draws exactly the same vector artwork inside a smaller frame. Text stays text and the barcode stays a barcode at full resolution, so scanners read it exactly as well as the original.

Will the AWB barcode still scan?

Yes. Nothing about the barcode changes - only the visible page frame around it. In practice cropped labels scan more reliably, because you are no longer shrinking an A4 page onto a 4-inch roll.

Can I use this on my phone while packing?

Yes. The crop box is fully touch-enabled, the layout is mobile-first, and the download works the same way it does on desktop.

Is there a limit on how many labels I can crop?

No daily or monthly limit. The only practical limit is the 50 MB file size cap, which comfortably covers hundreds of label pages.
