About the Amazon label crop tool

Amazon India does not have one label format - it has several. An Easy Ship label, where Amazon Transportation Services collects from your pickup address, is laid out differently from a Self Ship label you generate for your own courier, which is different again from an FBA carton label. Some downloads put the shipping label on top with the tax invoice beneath; others place two labels per A4 sheet; the exact geometry has shifted more than once as Seller Central has been updated.

That variety is why this page leads with a manual crop box instead of automatic detection. Tools that hunt for a fixed line or a magic text anchor look clever right up until Amazon changes a template - and then they silently clip barcodes for everyone. How to crop a Amazon shipping label to 4x6

    In Amazon Seller Central, open Manage Orders, select your Easy Ship or Self Ship orders and download the shipping labels as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with Amazon Easy Ship labels?

Yes. Easy Ship is the most common case and the default preset is set up for it. Because Amazon has more than one Easy Ship template in circulation, always glance at the preview and nudge the box if needed before downloading.

What about Self Ship and FBA labels?

Both work. Self Ship labels you generate for your own courier crop the same way. For FBA, you can crop carton or box labels down to the barcode area - just position the box over the label you need. There is nothing Amazon-specific in the crop itself, so any layout is fair game.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device, is never uploaded, and is never stored by us. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and crop a file - you will see no upload request. The tool even keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

Will cropping blur the barcode?

No. We do not convert your PDF into an image. The crop is a vector operation - we rewrite the page CropBox and MediaBox so the printer draws exactly the same vector artwork inside a smaller frame. Text stays text and the barcode stays a barcode at full resolution, so scanners read it exactly as well as the original.

Why is there no automatic Amazon crop?

Because Amazon India uses several label templates and changes them from time to time. An auto-crop that assumes a fixed split works until the template moves, then quietly cuts barcodes in half for every user. A manual box you can see and adjust never has that failure mode - and it takes about five extra seconds.

Can I crop a multi-order label PDF in one go?

Yes. Leave "Apply this crop to all pages" enabled and every page is cropped identically. If a batch mixes layouts, turn it off and crop each page individually, or split the batch and run it twice.

Is the tax invoice removed?

If your PDF has the invoice below the label, then yes - cropping to the label region drops it from the output. Your original file still has every invoice, so nothing is lost for your GST records.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It is a web page. No app, no extension, no signup, and no desktop software. It runs on Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and on mobile.
